Ladies luncheon - legacy & Lessons from our mothers
Join us for a beautiful time of fellowship, reflection, and encouragement as we honor wisdom and legacy passed down through generations on Saturday, May 2nd at 12:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. All ladies are warmly invited to attend - we would love to have you with us! Please be sure to sign up in the foyer.
Mother's Day Tribute
Each year we celebrate the women of God at Sixth Avenue by honoring and remembering our mothers and grandmothers. There is a card in the seat in front of you where you can recognize your mother or grandmother, living or with the Lord, by making any size donation to the Sixth Avenue Ladies Ministry. Please complete these and get them in by May 3 so that we can recognize these precious women on Mother's Day.
silent auction for missions
Please have all items donated for the silent auction on Mother's Day to the church office by Wed, April 29. The items will be on display for bids and/or purchase on May 3 & 10, See Debbie Kincaid or Debbie Wykle for more info.
Community National Day of Prayer
Please join us for the Community National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7 at 6:00PM at FBC Lenoir City- Sanctuary. This will be an important time of corporate prayer for our nation.
Sixth Avenue Senior Adult Ministries
We are pleased to announce that Cathy Ivey is the new leader of our senior adult ministry. If you are 55+ years of age, please consider joining us for a special potluck fellowship luncheon on Tuesday, May 19 @ 6:00PM in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone please bring either an entree, a salad, side dish or dessert to share. We meet on the third Tuesday of every month.
pray till pentecost
We will be meeting for prayer on Wednesdays in the sanctuary at 7:00pm as we move toward Pentecost. And let all of us together, every time we gather, in large or small groups, from the nursery to the senior adults, ask the Lord for a fresh Pentecost in our own lives and for our church. Individually, ask the Lord to fill up your life with His Spirit, Acts 2:39.
